Our story started in 1977. The founder, David Pehlivanian, opened a retail shop on Rue De Salaberry in Montreal. Salaberry began as a small venture in residential flooring that quickly blossomed into a household name across the city. His sons, Stephen, and Nazareth eventually joined hands with their father to propel the family business to new heights. Their journey began with a shared commitment to uphold the principles on which their business was built: a notable expertise and an unwavering dedication to quality and service.
After mastering the residential sector, the second generation, with the strategic direction of Vickie Galiatsatos, aimed to expand their horizons in the world of commercial flooring. Today, Salaberry continues to be a trusted name in the national commercial landscape, working with respected contractors, promoters, designers, architects, engineers, and visionaries. Our expansion isn't only about square footage, it's a testament to our ability in meeting robust market demands while maintaining the bespoke customer - service approach we first came to be known for.
With Salaberry, flooring isn't just underfoot;
it's a foundation of trust, craft, and heritage.
We've got flooring down to an art.
